Chenille yarn feather has much to do with whole yarn quality: to have more soft and fluffy, manufacturer produce longer and more hairiness chenille yarn, but it reduces the strength of chenille yarn. It makes chenille yarn weak as the core yarn is thinner.

Although the chenille yarn will get nice hand feeling and better gloss, it is easy to break during weaving or knitting process and cause undesirable consequences, for example: unclear opening or even blank yarn, more broken ends and knots, and so on.

In weaving industry, the upholstery chenille fabric could cause to pill, and to be worse, the chenille fabric could be cross-section defects. It seriously affected the quality of chenille yarn dyed fabric as the appearance of chenille yarn dyed fabric is not good.
