Up till now, most of chenille yarn are used in upholstery weaving fabric. Finished chenille upholstery weaving fabric are basicly two kinds: piece dyed chenille upholstery fabric and yarn dyed chenille upholstery fabric. While about 70% of the chenille upholstery fabric are piece dyed for its better price-performance ratio and nice quality.

The quality of these chenille fabrics are determined by correct practice in weaving mill and dyeing house, especially piece dyeing process. Standard operation includes a small piece dyeing work should be done before any bulk chenille fabric piece dyeing production, that is to make of correct color and check the chenille yarn pile yarn is not washed out.

During large scale piece dyeing of chenille fabric, the importance of heating, temperature maintain,  cooling, washing can never be stressed enough.

And after chenille fabric piece dyeing, fabric shrinkage problem is also needed to be considered.
